Share with us the most impressive synth skin you have seen (good or bad)

For me, I fell in love with killihu's skins as the layout really gets rid of the junk you really don't need and also I find the layouts easier to work with.
Also just for the time and effort put in to transform rather than just simply recoloring

While I like simple and clear interfaces with a good workflow I also have a soft spot for well done skeumorphic surfaces.

One great examples of the latter is Sugar Byte's Drumcomputer. You can almost pick up the knobs and eat them:

Those are probably my favs. Not a big fan of third party skins, TBH. In most cases, they look worse to me than the factory ones.
Plugins and a DAW. On an operating system. Which runs on a computer.

My current Dune 3 favorite. Easy on the eyes for long periods of viewing.

I prefer GUIs that look like hardware since I grew up using it....not a fan of flat skins or skins with lots of different colors.

As for skinners themselves I'm a huge fan of the work of Mikael Eidenberg, ENV1, satYatunes, and Hoverland. :tu:

I don't know if it's easy to work with (never tried), but whenever I think about a beautiful skin I remember this one:

I do like a darker skin. I still have a copy of that little live skin editor program to tweak everything to taste. Lovely stuff tho.

Most of the times, I find myself using the default skin (for an instrument or a DAW)! Anyway, there are exceptions like the Dark Massive X or Gearporn for Bazille:

Anyway, from the most inviting GUI and design, Original Massive and Razor. I can spend long hours editing sounds with a smile using those two synths! I just love everything about them :)

I agree! The Dune 3 GUI is a beauty.
I would add the work of Voger Design:

They made the interfaces for Dmitry Shes plugins.
