Are we there yet? I know there was one no longer available but still there doesn't seem to be one?
Maybe the Chow Phaser but the demo video doesn't seem to be like it..

HAINBACH has a video about it
so AudioThing might do it at some point as they did with Wires recently
Also it sounds fantastic!

hi, yes that was one thing that brought it to mind. Audiothing would be a good candidate for doing it. I was also thinking Ray of Fuse Audio might be interested as he's done some stomp pedals. I might suggest it to him.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

That phaser is really cool but we are working on something else with Hainbach at the moment...coming soon!
Anyway, we have been playing with a Mutron Biphase for about a year now, so we are probably going to replace our Phase Motion with a nice Biphase emulation.

This is the phaser that Ritchie Blackmore used. Maybe there will be AmpliTube Ritchie Blackmore one day, if Ritchie can be convinced that computers aren’t the sorcerery of evil wizards.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

What is the Schulte phaser doing exactly? Hard to believe that it's something that can't be replicated with either a flexible phaser / modulation plugin or at least a signal chain / modular setup of multiple plugins in a DAW.

I love the Chow Phaser, inspired by the Schulte Compact Phasing 'A', it's amazing:

Will probably end up getting the Vandaal hardware clone at some point though:

Do you think it's a reasonable emulation? The video I saw didn't really give me that but maybe it wasn't the source material I would apply it to.Hermetech Mastering wrote: Sat Feb 27, 2021 9:01 am I love the Chow Phaser, inspired by the Schulte Compact Phasing 'A', it's amazing:

Not really, but comes closer ITB than anything else I have used. My main problem with it is too many controls, with not enough sweet spots. It can sound great, but it always takes me ages tweaking to get it sounding that way. I think I'm gonna order the Vandaal this year and be done with it.ChamomileShark wrote: Sat Feb 27, 2021 11:33 amDo you think it's a reasonable emulation? The only downside with doing a Biphase IMO, is Arturia did one that I suspect a lot of people already own, and how often do you use phasers that you need multiple emulations of the same pedal? Audio Damage did one too. Not sure how accurate the Arturia is but I quite like their modulation effects bundle. Just my two cents...audiothing wrote: Wed Feb 24, 2021 10:52 am That phaser is really cool but we are working on something else with Hainbach at the moment...coming soon!
