Here are the screenshots I took. The first shows the operator parameters. It's interesting to see that each operator has its own pitch envelope, and pair of lfos, aside from the flow lfos near the bottom of the image.

This thing should be out any day now, shouldn't it? Really curious to see what other options besides the sine are available for the oscillators since I don't think they've ever showed that.

I'd assume at least the waveforms available in the other Aktion based products, the standard set plus "spinal saw"...there are two sample osc and a noise osc as wellGreenstorm33 wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 1:43 am This thing should be out any day now, shouldn't it? the developer explains the NAMM flyer from on the first page of this thread a lil more here

Around 9:05 Wolfram mentions "all this comes on 2 layers" but there are 4 layers. I was little confused by that.
I think he just meant 4 layers, but the 2nd one was highlighted and maybe he just said the number 2 instead of 4.

In the first screenshot I posted above, you see a drop-down for wave form. It like one like there are some icons for loading waveforms, but it's not clear if that's for importing single-cycle wave forms, or something else.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 1:43 am This thing should be out any day now, shouldn't it? As far as release date, we still have another month in the first quarter, so there's still a few weeks left.

In the video they say "it has taken us a whole other year to get to almost completion, which is going to be the next few weeks" so I thought that was alluding to the release date. Maybe I misunderstood. My assumption on those buttons is that they are copy/paste functionality since they appear on most of the elements of the oscillator view as well as the layers. Which is why I really want to see what's in that dropdown menuDocAtlas wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 6:03 pmIn the first screenshot I posted above, you see a drop-down for wave form. The copy/paste idea makes more sense; I don't know what I was thinking. I had heard somewhere that they we're aiming for a first quarter release, but I may be conflating that with another product.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 6:16 pmIn the video they say "it has taken us a whole other year to get to almost completion, which is going to be the next few weeks" so I thought that was alluding to the release date. Woah, looks like dream FM synth. Everything here accessible and laid out clearly.DocAtlas wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 2:45 am Here are the screenshots I took. The first shows the operator parameters. Unlike FM8, which turned out to be outdated mess.

Have you considered Algoritm (assuming you have access to Reason / Reason Rack Plugin)?DJ Warmonger wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:18 amWoah, looks like dream FM synth. Everything here accessible and laid out clearly.

The good thing about FM8 is the morphing and the super low CPU use.DJ Warmonger wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:18 amWoah, looks like dream FM synth. Algoritm is not a dream FM synth. No rate/level envelopes, no DX7 import, and RS re-used Europa's mod-matrix, lfo section, unison (they didn't even change the led graphics), and effects.

FM8 still a beast, idgaf what anyone says. F'em "seems" like a very nice step up from FM8. Missed opportunity from Native Instruments if you ask me. They could have really beefed up FM8 into something great. The FM synth from Reason is aight......I still think FM8 smokes it

What's wrong with those? There's several DX7 emulations that you can use and the elements you mentioned just work, so why not re-use it?dvnation wrote: Tue Mar 02, 2021 3:41 pm...no DX7 import, and RS re-used Europa's mod-matrix, lfo section, unison (they didn't even change the led graphics), and effects.
That's a really weird list of complaints
