Not a M1 version.

It's not.

Code: Select all

OTT.component > Contents > MacOS $ file OTT
OTT: Mach-O 64-bit bundle x86_64
Most likely, there was an issue with OTT that prevented it from running under Rosetta2, and Steve fixed it in this build.

Ooops, did't refresh the thread

Apologies guys, I don’t own an M1 myself to validate, I just post when I come across something that says it’s compatible with Apple Silicon

I’m sure Steve will correct that though

These are the Klevgrand plugins I know have been updated:

Ting v1.0.2
Native ARM support for macOS (M1 processor)

Spinn v1.0.1
macOS binaries supports ARM (M1) CPU natively

Pipa v1.0.1
macOS binaries supports ARM (M1) CPU natively

DawCassette v1.1.4
macOS binaries supports ARM (M1) CPU natively

Korvpressor v2.0.3
macOS binaries supports ARM (M1) CPU natively

STARK v1.0.3
Native ARM support for macOS (M1 processor)

Hornet has a couple more M1 supported plugins:

SongKey MK3 3.1.0
Added Apple M1 support (minimum macOS now is 10.11)

AutoGain 1.4.0
Added Apple M1 support
Signatures are so early 2000s.

Having a M1 is not required. Dropping any file to ArchiChect will display real Apple Silicon compatibility. Check Discovery Pro AU below and the Apple Silicon checkbox enabled.

For power users or geeks :) using terminal command file on MacOS folder binary will reveal that.

For Discovery Pro AU go to Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-ins > Components then right click and select Show Package Contents.

Navigate to MacOS folder. Open Terminal and type file, then drag and drop MacOS binary file and press enter to see the results.

A real Universal 2 Binary will contain both x86_64 and arm64 bundles.

Synapse The Legend 1.4 is now native. And, as with Dune 3, the dev refuses to release a UB2. Separate incompatible installers. So no Rosetta2 for you. I don't get what Richard's deal is with this. He knows the community's objections and rationale for wanting UB2 (like all other developers are already doing), but he won't budge.

Wavesfactory Echo Cat has been updated as Universal 2 Binary but it's not... hope this trend stops happening.

Thank you so much, but to clarify further, I'm a PC user these days. I don't own "any" Mac :)

Considering how hit and miss this is, perhaps I should allow the Mac users to add to it so they can validate the plugins. I have just been watching progress of plugin development as the M1 chips interest me.

Community based verification seems a great idea. I'm contributing here but of course more people working on this is much better on this case :)

Thanks for making a well-intentioned contribution to the thread 👍🏼

Verified as Universal 2 Binary (x86_64 and arm64 builds):

Yoin Reverberator (AU only) https://www.owlolantern.com/releases/yoin

Fazzu Bass Distortion (AU only) https://www.owlolantern.com/releases/fazu

PCM2612 Retro Decimator Unit is the first M1 native plugin from Inphonik. I assume updates will follow for their other plugins.

Hey those are mine! Yes they are UB2, I don't have an intel Mac but I tried to verify them by running DAWs in Rosetta mode. I am glad to hear they seem to work for others.

Yes, they are running in Logic for Apple Silicon fine. Something I noticed about the DMG is that the .component file can't be dragged to the alias folder with Big Sur. On Mojave works OK.
