Yes, it does work in Ableton Live. For now, only monophonic is supported. We are trying to get the poly mode working too!

As a fluid pitch owner, this is my biggest concern. You're a small company with a single product to date and no track record. Should you get absorbed by another company, get a lucrative other gig, hit the lottery, users could be left in the lurch if the authorization server ever goes down. Things can happen. A key file authorization helps assure users that the plugin will work in the future as long as the OS and host allow for it.

Just to be clear - once you're registered, you don't need to log in again. You can continue using FP offline forever.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 7:32 pmAs a fluid pitch owner, this is my biggest concern. As for the pessimistic predictions on the company's future - sure, any small company can disappear on you even with a serial, that's usually limited to X activations... Hopefully none of that ever happens and you keep getting support forever.

Only just came across this plugin - very clever, very musical approach. Does it take Scala input for other scales?
And... do you allow license transfers/resale?

Will wait to see if you get it working 100% in Ableton Live.
It seems an interesting software but not a great purchase for Live users as of yet.
Not quite ready for prime time imho.

The lack of MPE support in FP/Ableton Live is due to a technical problem on Ableton's side - for some reason they don't allow passing multi channel information from plugin to plugin. They recently started allowing it for external MPE controllers in Live 11, but unfortunately they block that feature in MIDI plugins, which is indeed a shame.Aloysius wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:17 pm Thanks.

Anyway, I totally understand if you think the plugin is only useful in MPE mode, I personally don't use that mode as much, as I feel pitch bends are more useful for leads/bass that are monophonic anyway...

It doesn't, but that would be a great feature request. I'll pass it along. Thank you for that!fairlyclose wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 8:02 pm Only just came across this plugin - very clever, very musical approach. Does it take Scala input for other scales?
No idea regarding your other question...

I updated and was asked to register again for some reason. And if the servers were to go away, the one activation is only as good as long as you don’t ever need to reinstall it whereas a keyfile or serial always works. Just saying…innervisions wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 7:49 pmJust to be clear - once you're registered, you don't need to log in again. Good point. There's always a trade off there between making the software more secure and less crackable to a smooth user experience. That's something I'm struggling with myself for my future plugins...Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 11:34 pm I updated and was asked to register again for some reason. That update that caused you to re-login was a bug in some versions (taking full responsibility for that one...) that hopefully is fixed in the latest version 1.2 (but might still require just one re-login).

Warning! Don't leave your email address with this Krishna idiot. He'll spam you until hell freezes over, no matter how many times you tell him to stop, and he acknowledges. Still they keep coming like a trail of lemmings!
