Hey All-

I'm looking for a windows modular VST host (ala pedalboard, VSTboard etc) that could recall overall presets from an elgato Stream Deck. Pedalbard has a key commands for, next/previous but I'm hoping to find one that has the ability to map say ctrl+1 to preset/patch 1, ctrl+2 to 2 and so on.

Also, I don't know if all of them do this already, but I'll need to make sure it mutes the outputs when changing presets.

Also if anyone has experience with the Stream Deck, I'm open to other ways to make it work.

The application is for a native trinnov, minidsp, linean, lake etc. Digital room correction, crossover, monitor switcher and monitor controller.

What about Freestyle?

It might be overkill but it will certainly recall whole presets of your vst’s and the Streamdeck will send midi out with the midi extension in the user library which can be configured to switch presets.

Freestyle will mute when changing presets. There is a demo.

Seems like a task Plogue Bidule could handle as well.

Voltage2 also knows it

Variations. Think of this as preset storage or snapshot recall – but for the whole patch, with positions of knobs and switches. But it goes further, in that you can play those and modulate through them with triggers or CV. (Again, Reaktor could have done this, were it not for wonky snapshot implementation. But it’s great to see Voltage get it right.)
