Gino Cote, (IIRC) the guy behind Adventus. I know the source code was lost, but I remember someone saying it might have been possible to reverse engineer it, then Adventus could have had 64bit support, updates, etc etc. One of the best sounding synths I heard at the time, would have loved to have seen where it could have gone.

TriTone Digital - their HydraTone was the best sounding EQ plugin I ever tried. It was convolution based and used samples of real hiend hardware EQs. But it was Max/MS based and buggy as hell.
So I was hoping for a proper coded version. But then they first on switched to Mac only (I was still on PC then), and finally disappeared completely. It's a real pity.

HydraTone definitely sounded like real hardware. It used multi-stage impulse responses taken from Amek 9098, Avalon VT-737, API 550B and Focusrite ISA 110.

I have not seen Nicfit post anything for many years.
Last post was in 2005.
He was extremely helpful and had developed many plugins.

Andrew Medforth AKA Astralp from Home Grown Sounds.
Had developed many excellent plugins and had fantastic low priced Group Buys.
Has not communicated for many months now.
He was a great communicator and so when the communications stopped I got worried.
His site is down.
I understand that he is recovering from an illness.
I wish him the best and hope he returns to KVR soon.
