Years ago I tried one of these magware IK Multimedia freebies and wasn't satisfied with their policy to bring all their stuff onto my laptop. I deleted everything, opted out of all newsletters and so on.

Now out of the blue I've received two mailings within a day with (for me) completely irrelevant info. (Yes, I unsubscribed immediately).

Question: Will this annoying behaviour carry on in the future? Anything special to do for me to finally get rid of this aggressive marketing?

You can unsubscribe and "flag" (report) them. Everyone experiencing such issue should just flag them and then their newsletter service provider will push further actions towards them.

There's no amount of money which IK can pay to newsletter service provider that will stop making sanctions toward IK.

Sanctions will happen only if you and enough of people report them to their service provider (assuming that they have bad practice).

If everyone just complain here on public forum - nothing will happen.

You could go the DSGVO route and demand to delete any trace in their database... Which might kill the licenses of your freebies, but I guess you don’t want to use them ever again anyway...
In case after that they send you another mail they will be in big trouble...
