How to make that sound...

I hope this works. I tried to isolate a techno sound from Dr. Motte's love parade I'd like to know more about. You could hopefully listen to it if you click here:

The notes are (I believe) F-F-Fsharp (followed by an A but I am more interested in the sound from the first 3 notes). It is a kind of noisy sound but I am no longer sure if it is only based on noise, resonance and distortion. There must be something else to it.

How do I recreate this exact sound? It is certainly purely synthetic but what's the secret ingredients?
C'mon, there must be something that you do in your life besides sleeping or working? And then for the first time he was really thinking and what did he reply: I watch TV!

Are it those noisy bits? the quick double-tap bits (not sure what to call them)
You could play with noise and distortions to kinda get something with A LOT of playing around but to me it sounds like some oldskool turntable scratching sounds. I'm sure if you youtube turn table battles and that sort of stuff you can sample the crap of of those to use as filler.

I thought of the turntable scratches, too, but I don't have any equipment like that at home. Maybe if I love this kind of music I should think of expanding my equipment. Do you think Dr. Motte scratched on some record and sampled this bit?
So you think I cannot simulate this sound on a synth because I'd have to actually learn how to scratch a vinyl for this?
I don't know...

How do these sounds result then, anyways? Isn't it basically quickly playing back arbitrary bits of sounds from an unknown vinyl that may contain classical instruments? Noise then results from the "jumps" from one bit of sound to the next, doesn't it, because there is no good constancy in the transitions between frequencies through time?

Still, the overall result sounds like something that may also be reconstructed on a synth. I don't know.
Who else is a specialist who can tell me something more about this interesting new topic and these particular sounds? Any DJs in this forum? Making techno music really doesn't seem so easy after all...

Check out turntable battles on YouTube
I bet there's loads

Look for DJ kipski battle

I was a kid when I saw it but it's still awesome.

If you get some bits to cut up the maybe lowpass it and add some distortion and blend in white noise etc

I think you may be right Choos: this is probably scratching sampled and then further edited using mostly LP filters, distortion and noise. How exactly I don't know. The LP filter also opens up and closes again later in the song.
It's a real complex sound, nothing for beginners.
I'll need to learn how to do the scratching first if I want to create some real good music later and not just a stupid beat and a high hat with some crappy preset for a lead.
The scratching in the background takes this music to a completely different level.
Nowadays they use digital dj controllers that I might still be able to afford.
I guess it's still too early for me to be able to create SUCH sounds then.

Still I wonder how close I might come to such sounds using synths alone and maybe a DJ will read this and add a comment, too, telling us what the underlying technique is called which was used in Dr. Motte's unique love parade 2000 song and how they do this. I'd be happy to know because it sounds so great! I wish more DJs or artists would join in here and share their knowledge.

I will guarantee you that it was sampled and not synthesized
