Scan New VST Ableton

Hello folks i use Ableton 10 Live Standard, recently i update my folder of VST's and rescan but it's stuck on loading forever. I try to force close my Ableton and when i reopen Ableton keep scan and never load to UI. How to stop this?

Does it show the plugin it is trying to scan? If so, you could try moving that plugin out of your VST folder and restart Live.

Like Reefius mentioned, try moved your VSTs to other folder and reopen Ableton, once it's finish loading, close it and try move one or two VSTs to your prefer folder and then open Ableton have it to scan your VST folder.

should stop rescanning when launch so all you gotta do is rescan when you got a new plugin. unfortunately scanning is slow if you got a lot of plugins.

In addition to the suggestions above, you could try to force a deep/total rescan by holding down alt/option while clicking the "Rescan" button in Preferences.
