Super cheap and actually quite interesting- give it a demo (works stand alone or in the free Snap Heap host with other fx)

X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Tried, very good, for such price definitely purchase.

This is definitely one of the more interesting snapins...you don't see too many non-linear filters.

Every analogue modelled filter is non-linear ( when done right )
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

so it's just a filter with drive on it?

Because this seems like it is out of Kilohearts wheelhouse based on the rest of their really basic plugins..my bad "snap-ins", they mention that it is "not our"filter, and Jatin has wrapped a non-linear filter from his "Complex Nonlinearties" distortion algorithms that does a very similar thing in how the distortion/non-linearity interrelates with the filter

I don’t have any of those so I can’t compare them but I guess if they have the same multiple (9) modes like digital and saturation? I’m not sure if that’s how all non linear filters work)

I doubt they will cost me just a fiver anyway, but the main advantage of a snapin over stand alone (although obviously a snapin also works stand alone) is that it works as part of something bigger, an integrated fx in Phase Plant, Snap Heap or Multipass (allowing it to be used on just one frequency band) so for me as I have phase Plant and Multipass it’s a no brainier!

Interesting, but it's weird they haven't added adjustable filter slopes for HP/LP :(

Also, looking at the filter curves they seem to be always the same for given combination of Freq / Q / Drive, which would suggest it's lookup table-based rather than actually "modelling" some random set of parameters within given range characteristic of particular filter "style"?

Still, it does sound rather good, integrates well with PP, SH and MP that I already own and is dirt cheap.

You have some axe to grind with kHs, eh? :D

They say "not OUR filter" in context of their device not being used by Jimi Hendrix, Chemical Brothers or Madonna, which is kind of understandable what with it just being released :dog:

No axe that i am aware of. I didn't speak favourably of PhasePlant sure, but i thought that was just considered an opinion????

Aah ok, my bad for the misunderstanding then :clown:
