Hi,

As noted in a separate thread, Smart:EQ2 is now less than 50 bucks at PB: www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effect ... smart-EQ-2

So I wonder: how does this compare to iZotope's Neutron and the various EQs of Ozone (which I have)?

Basically, I'd be interested in an EQ that carves out space for each individual track. However, I'd not like this to be a cumbersome process, and ideally not that CPU power consuming. I recently found that Ozone is really good at this, also on individual tracks, by setting a preset (like Male high vocal) and then run Master Assistant.

I've read before that Smart:comp is somehow better for carving out space for sounds--make sure to look into what it can do in comparison with Smart:EQ2.
