As counter-example to whyterabbyt's thesis that "nobody ever produced any decent music on a tracker", on a serious note, I recommend everyone who is interested in commercially successfull music produced mainly with Trackers to listen to some DAT Politics album, released on Skipp (www.ski-pp.com), or to some album of former DAT Politics member Aelters, released on Sonig (www.sonig.com).

Judging from their own tracks, I could imagine that Vurt or Putte would like their music - but what do I know...

I think WR was just trying to wind up XG2, who has been hanging around causing trouble because we don't all agree with him that Computer Music is crap and so are all its reader demos, journalists, editors and their families

He has trouble with concept of "personal opinion".

You are of course completely correct, some quality music is produced on trackers.

Thanks Quincy, I did understand WR not being completely serious.

That's why I wrote "on a serious note", because I think it's interesting to see where there is some music produced with trackers in the "commercial" music world.

If anyone has some more links, please post them.

I don't have a link but I hear Aphrodite only uses trackers. I'm not all that much into his music, but he DOES seem to be popular
