@c_voltage Ive tried them as well, M1 and WS do sound a little too "first generation PCMish" to me, same with the GUI. The Triton VST has IMHO most of the sounds of them in a more fresher and more timeless manner, and the GUI is better suited for my workflow, although not perfect. Anyway, it will save me significant time when programming songs, like a one stop shop compared to a night long multi VST odissey;)

I bought it, because the price is good, you also get all EXB-PCM expansions, but meanwhile I don't use it anymore. I worked with the hardware many years ago, but meanwhile this sounds are very dated and I have much better alternatives. I would sell it, but Korg doesn't allow license transfer

Two instances, one set to program, the other to combi, then set them to different MIDI channels?MacArnold wrote: Mon Mar 08, 2021 5:34 pm @evildragon That would be a setback from my initial expectations. I plan to run it in standalone on a headless PC on stage and since it always starts up in PGM mode with PGM 0 I need a way to switch modes without attaching a monitor/mouse/kbd to it on startup.
Or, just make a combi for each program you want to use, then be in combi mode all the time? This is what I did when I performed live with my old Korg X5D - combi mode all the time, even if a single program was used.
Also, depending on which host you use to host Triton plugin, you can set a new default state, so you can make Combi mode the default state this way.

The hardware was great and sooooo expensive.clipnotic wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:57 am I bought it, because the price is good, you also get all EXB-PCM expansions, but meanwhile I don't use it anymore. This sounds very good, yes a bit dated but the programming flexibility helps make up for that.

Yes, at that time it was a great board, I also had the Trinity V3 and I paid 5.000 DM (Deutsche Mark) for it, today with inflation today it would be over 4.500 Euro ...CircuitEYE wrote: Wed Mar 10, 2021 10:20 pmThe hardware was great and sooooo expensive.clipnotic wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:57 am I bought it, because the price is good, you also get all EXB-PCM expansions, but meanwhile I don't use it anymore. Thanks, I may gonna end up with this. The problem I see here (at least I could not find a solution...) is, that the IFX/MFX settings do not get loaded in Combi mode when adding a program so they need to be configured manually. Or have I overseen something and theres a way to "load with FX"?EvilDragon wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 11:15 am ... AFAIK no way to copy FX.

I tried the demo, and I love the sounds on it. But for me when you play back MIDI there's often a very slight but noticeable latency, which makes it unusable.
In chords sometimes the notes hit at a different time (the midi is fully quantized):
Maybe it's a "humanize" setting somewhere but I can't find it.

I just tried something myself similar to your short demo and there is not latency on chords for me.

What OS and DAW are you using? I'm using macOS 10.14 with Logic Pro X 10.5.0. Maybe it's not well optimised for my system.Examigan wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 12:44 am I just tried something myself similar to your short demo and there is not latency on chords for me.
