I think the context is clear enough that the hyperbole is accurate.
Apple has enough money, that musician opinions are just a blip on
their radar, easily missed while the decision makers yawn.
Cheers

the marketing department. 'Spend and shout'
That one person successfully handles design, implementation, testing, copy protection, advertising, QA, PR, while keeping up with the latest data, and learning/inventing new things, it's all quite amazing to me,
and provides a great example to follow in any endeavor.

Yes, amazing! But consider the synergy of Woz to the original Apple computer. Would we have ever heard of Apple without Jobs? Woz was the engineer who built it, Jobs was a marketing whiz.glokraw wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 9:23 pm

I think there needs to be a partner (if not an entire paid team) that is as one-track-mind focused on selling a tech product as the one who designs the concept, engineers, and builds it. That's speaking in general though, not directed at Seaweed.

Normally I have a strict policy of not saying anything bad about companies. But their decision was so obvious, flagrant, intentional, premediated, aggressive, ubiquitous and callous that I think it is safe to say they would actually be quite proud of what I just said. It would be like saying if a former friend locks you out of their house that they would mind you saying they don't like you when that was obviously the exact point of what they did.
It's pretty clear then when you intentionally disable the software of literally every independent developer on the planet unless they go through your private training program that you are no longer running an operating system but a club.

OK, Server is now fixed.
Everyone should be able to use their settings upgrade page now to get their own update link.
It is smart enough to know which product you have and it chooses the right link.

This has alot of parallels to being an independent artist.....it is not easy or even realistic to wear all those hats. We all need a cheerleader.glokraw wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 9:23 pmFor many coders not part of a team, we, and our wallets, are part ofzzz00m wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 3:08 pm If more folks were made aware of it, it might still take off...![]()

You need to update this page :
https://www.fathomsynth.com/updates
because it announces the release of version 3.3.0
but propose to purchase the 3.2.0 version
and the download buttons get you the 3.0.3 version

I found that confusing as well, especially me having the vector version which is not listed there.carrieres wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 10:49 am You need to update this page :
