Why on earth would this not have MPE. They did a great job of MPE with the 106. You'd think that a synth with 8 distinct and separate synth voices would get the same treatment.

I would have bet this one had MPE... especially after this:

The manual actually doesn't even mention velocity as a mod-source, it's like 1:1 with the hardware in regards to keyboard input

I hope I'm just missing something.

Not enough demand perhaps? Or it might just come at a later upgrade? MPE is still pretty new.

Hmm then i don't know. But its not out yet though so could be they will implement MPE afterall.

Maybe its just something to do with the 8 voice architecture and the way the voices are allocated...we will find out soon enough!

Better order a LinnStrument. Even cheaper than the 4-octave Roli...
And its more the other way round: if you own an expressive controller you don’t buy synths which do not support MPE...
