Hi,
I've been a bit reticent recently about publishing compositions cause they aren't recorded the way I want, and It would take me much work to refine each piece recording.
So, I was thinking to publish 'drafts' at the same time I work to refine the recording of an album.
But where to publish these "drafts"? I feel visual artists are confortable of using Deviant Art for this purpose. As a musician, are there social medias fit for It? I dont know why I tend to feel insecure about publishing drafts, like I feel the publication of a piece should be a definitive moment, though our technology of communication seem to allow different perspectives on this.
What about publishing drafts of compositions?

Never heard of SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp, et al?
Drafts are usually called "work(s) in progress" or "WiP".
I do it all the time, mostly because I can't be @rsed to finish a tune.

This is where a free account with SoundCloud comes in. I've put works in progress up there and shared privately for constructive feedback amongst my peers. If you ever get round to polishing the track there's always YouTube with simple free video clips to help tell the story.
I invite you to 'voyage' over to https://adrianearnshaw.com, sign up for some fun e-mail 'blasts', and look forward to helping you launch your ears - and projects - into the stratosphere.
