I'm a Win user, but Logic X should have an automatically latency compensation?

I solved this by putting the instances that have latency on a different MIDI channel (it seems to only happen when there is more than one instance). No idea why this works but it does.Kurtau wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 12:19 am I tried the demo, and I love the sounds on it. But for me when you play back MIDI there's often a very slight but noticeable latency, which makes it unusable.
In chords sometimes the notes hit at a different time (the midi is fully quantized):
Maybe it's a "humanize" setting somewhere but I can't find it.
edit: it doesn't work on export, lol.

@Kurtau: If I activate ARP then I can reproduce it here.

Same problem here. Logic Pro X, Digital Performer, there is no difference. There is something wrong with Triton, this is the only plugin that behaves this way.Kurtau wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 12:19 am But for me when you play back MIDI there's often a very slight but noticeable latency, which makes it unusable.

Yeah, seems that way, hopefully they will fix it in an update.Pillimees wrote: Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:13 pmSame problem here. Logic Pro X, Digital Performer, there is no difference. Quick update. I havent touched this in months... but came back to it recently. CC#58 is not working to turn on/off the ARP global? I am pretty sure it was working before, and I would like to map it again. ??? Gate OFFSET and Velocity OFFSET... less important -- but i would *really* like to be able to start/stop the arp on a combi... and it's just not working with CC#58jdoo wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 3:37 am Speaking of the global arpeggio settings. I've mapped Arp On/Off - CC#58 to a button in my controller. This works great for firing up/off the arpeggio for a combi. I don't see where or how to map the other two global arpeggio settings ( GATE OFFSET and VELOCITY OFFSET ). I'm likely looking in the wrong manual?? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers -
Joe
Has anyone successfully mapped arp on/off from an external controller to their Triton VST instance? Are you using CC? Sysex? What settings?
Thanks -
Joe

I am running Triton VST in Mainstage and Ive noticed on the meter that the CPU load gets very high, the more notes / voices are played simultaneously and/or sustained. Up to the point that CPU is on its limit and notes are not played at all or in a weird sequence/tonality.Pillimees wrote: Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:13 pmSame problem here. Can be easily reproduced, just dial in - lets say - a Brass Combi, press sustain and hit as many keys with your hands, palms as you can (and listen to the CPU fan kicking in)...
Maybe its related to your problem, however, this is the only plugin of my arsenal that can drive the CPU to its max that way so I consider this as a serious bug.

It's not really a bug, it would depend how high you have max polyphony set up in Global. It's good that it has dynamic CPU allocation so that it doesn't suck up CPU for all voices of polyphony.

I agree that reducing polyphony in Global Settings is reducing CPU load (defaults to 128 voices). However, for being a rompler plugin the CPU consumption is way to high IMHO. None of my other plugins use near as much, amongst them some modeled engines such as Pianoteq where CPU load is expected to be higher due real time processing.
Btw, I have never maxed out CPU load before Triton VST;)

If they're actually emulating the Triton's OS that could explain some of the CPU overhead.

Why didn't someone bitch slap me into this thread when it began? I love Korg products especially workstations.
Yes I read every single post and I'm only now off to download the trial. I may indeed pay full price and not be concerned that I do.

In my limited experience (Yesterday only) with the trial I'm having no issues with Triton KLC
Apparently I should have updated my registry with Korg. The website isn't registering my previous purchases of WS and M1.
So far I'm loving it and trying to think of BGM stuff that would work with my drone footage.

Triton and M1 should be great for soundstracks with drone videos.tapper mike wrote: Sat May 01, 2021 12:57 pm So far I'm loving it and trying to think of BGM stuff that would work with my drone footage.
There's some great nightime drone footage of Bob and Flo, Iceland's
currently lava-pumping volcanos, with offspring vents and lava flows.
Here's some live streams:
