Well, the developer has confirmed it is ARM ready and I'd like to give the trial a try, but the app is crashing here and it's x86 only so waiting for dev answer at the moment.

someone hacked Windows 10 for ARM on it, and it apparently worked very well. Hoping it's going to become bootcampable

It's listed as Universal 2 Binary at https://www.kvraudio.com/product/sienna ... tica-audio but I can't get the trial app to run installer due to crashes on Mojave. Can anyone else confirm it's ARM ready?

Post

sorry - not going to install acoustica again :D

I'm 99% sure this is not true native at all. I think it was even mentioned at Gearslutz that it's running under Rosetta.

.. and I'm not going to try installing it, sorry.

I'm running behind on this because I have been moving to a new house the past week. I'll get this updated with all the latest updates hopefully tomorrow.

Yeah, if we add the developer hasn’t replied me on this matter yet it’s safe to say the product is wrongly tagged as being Universal Binary.

someone over at logic forums made a 3rd party plugin benchmark (valhalla and fabfilter) and copied the same setup over to ProTools on Windows, on a 127W TDP 9900KS chip.
I got 35 tracks on the M1, he got 34 tracks on the i9. :D

oeksound just announced "Apple Silicon (M1) Rosetta 2 support" for soothe2 and spiff on their mailing list.
https://oeksound.com/downloads/

but: either I was too fast downloading the demos or it's horse hockey.
the download AUs are not silicon and the changelog states "Released on March 2nd 2021"(?)
either way I'm confused ...

Impossible, since they’re locked to iLok.

Edit: Oh rosetta. Theyve been working fine via rosetta since forever...

Auxture has been updated with Universal 2 Binary tag at KVR https://www.kvraudio.com/product/auxtur ... -audiobulb Does anyone know first hand if Max-For-Live standalone has real ARM M1 compatibility? I have contacted the developer in the meanwhile.

TBPro audio got some new product updated: DSEQ3 Dynamic Spectral Equaliser Plugin https://www.tb-software.com/TBProAudio/dseq3.html verified as U2B

AudioThing updated Things - Motor Tremolo Plugin (VST/VST3/AU U2B, AAX as x86) https://www.audiothing.net/effects/things-motor/

GSi has two new real U2B products updated and verified as real U2B:

Timeverb Reverb https://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=46
