How would you describe a song you loved in '93, that you only remember an 8 bar loop of, that's sat in a collection of vinyl big enough to cause structural damage to your house?

Infected Mushroom- "The Shen" and "Bust a Move". In comparsion all the other songs you have mentioned I would rate them "Distinctly average" if I was Simon Cowel. :dog:

Semi? I'm getting full on goose pimples reading this thread. I just wish I had access to mp3s of all the tunes on here I don't already own or know, just so I could see what I've been missing, or go "Aaaah yes! I'd forgotten that one"

I wasn't liking the way their newer stuff was turning out anyways. They seem to moving more towards the proggressive house side of things. Dragon Tales was definetly their best release.

Peace..
Saikopod... I have their latest one. I really like "Silent Running" That tune is amazing. It's funny how a lot of the old Goa crowd are now making minimal/progressive type stuff. Listen to Man With No Name's latest. I know he was always on the housey/simple melody side of things but his latest stuff is so simple and pure. I think its a distillation of the 'essence' of what makes a good trance stomper, rather than chromatic masturbation or wanton filter tweaking. It takes a certain maturity to make that kind of music.

Oh man I'm glad someone mentioned Cosmosis "Moonshine". I just listened to that yesterday, it still gets me high. Those filters never stop going UP UP UP, do they?

Has anyone mentioned "Orichalcum: Alien Homes". That's some weird shit.

I love it :D

Alright, I'm not going to go through all the goa/psy that everyone's already mentioned, There are loads of amazing tracks noted already. (nobody mentioned Hallucinogen's "Shamanix"!? Shame on you!

I'll try to drag an old one out of the hat:

Stellium: Rhythmistek

Anyone else remember being gobsmacked by this one? :D
