Tommorow I am getting a roland r8m with 3 cards ( including the 909 dance card ) in mint condition for 170 euro
If all goes well ,the cirklon v2 will arrive this month .
That will have to do it for this year ...but still lusting for an UDO supersix

Just picked up a Behringer Pro One. Quite nice, good build quality. solid tuning. Great sound.

That's the only thing (I recall) that put me off on it, when I saw a pretty-much-finalized prototype at a local event a couple/few years ago. Otherwise, what an awesome cool form follows function machine! Really cool people too. Good score.werp wrote: Thu Mar 25, 2021 3:27 am accidentally bought a Synthstrom Deluge.
Bunch of fun but now I need to have my eyes/glasses re-evaluated. Terribly small font on the grid.

Check Benidub Spring Amp ii. Great piece of kit, filter built in, LP or HP selectable with resonance. Just add your own tank, and those are cheap.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Mar 25, 2021 11:08 pm Oh was going to ask. Anyone recommend a spring reverb tank or kit? I don’t have eurorack so the likes of Intellijel not really an option.

Probably slightly more than I want to spend, but cheers. I think I will likely go the kit route tbh, the tanks themselves are usually about £30 and it can't be too hard to get an audio signal in and out.DMG68 wrote: Fri Mar 26, 2021 5:56 pmCheck Benidub Spring Amp ii. i know you're not interested in modular, but check the doepfer spring reverb module. if you have a look at it you will get an idea of what to expect, as you can see it's gutsWatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Mar 26, 2021 8:06 pmProbably slightly more than I want to spend, but cheers. It’s not me being uninterested in modular, it’s more that I can see myself shovelling thousands into modules and I’m trying to put that day off as long as possible. Eurocrack.

V-Moda Crossfade Master. And never looked back.

+1 for the doepfer spring reverb (or two), and a Make Noise Contour and Dynamix (for stereo panning) in a small 4MS powered case. The interplay and 'feedback' is your friend.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Mar 26, 2021 9:13 pm It’s not me being uninterested in modular, it’s more that I can see myself shovelling thousands into modules and I’m trying to put that day off as long as possible.
