Latest Konsol update has broken compatibility with projects that used v2.3, as old settings are not being correctly recalled. This is with the VST3 version and Cubase 10.5. Please, be aware of this for future updates, as maintaining compatibility is key for a plugin to be reliable and future-proof.

I haven't been able to update the few plugins I have installed here to these new versions because of blacklisting by Cubase 9.5. Just tried to update KONSOL and both the vst and vst3 were blacklisted immediately on launch.

So I went digging for clues and noticed that the vstscanner and vst2scanner processes both crashed when scanning my plugins after updating KONSOL. So this is why they're getting blacklisted. Hopefully the crashlogs (vst and vst3) will help identify what is in these new builds that Cubase doesn't like.
