If it works, then Quadra will work as it's soundbank running in it.
Windows 7 is not officially supported but it works fine AFAIK.
As a Falcon owner, can I switch out the sounds with my own?
So I can just use the midi tools.

Not sure it would fit nicely with the script.
There might be some error at the relaod when the script applies the edit page settings.

Not exactly the same, but for your own sounds you have the regular arpeggiator, the step arpeggiator and the euclidean script in Falcon

I wonder if this product is causing a bit of a "synsation" (see what I did there... ). The UVI web site and installer is barely crawling. I decided to update my installed products since it has been a while and it is just stuck on the first one. Meanwhile I updated all my installed Softube products in about 5 minutes.

Sometimes I have installed UVI stuff manually, as the installer app just stalls or goes so slow.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

This was my first time using the app. It seems every developer wants to have their own app these days. It is getting ridiculous. UVI, Softube, NI, Arturia, Spitfire, Kilohearts, Output, Roli, etc., ad nauseum, etc.

I like the installers. To me, software is a tool so any software that makes my life easier is welcome. Most of these dev specific installers work pretty well and makes it easier for me to update and manage plugins vs mamually going to the dev's site etc. Iespecially like those that do version control and updates by checking against what versions are installed, which includes UVI.

Ya, it did not make my life easier--if only . . .

The web site appears to be equally slow. I am going to guess that their service provider is getting stressed due to multiple downloads, or rather hope that is. So it goes.

I always find UVI downloads very slow.

Post

Ya, it's always like that. UVI know how to DSP, they do not know how to internet.

Post

I doubt it's UVI.
Here in Germany I have a constant download rate of 50 mbs since years , but I don't use the manager.

Post

It's their servers for sure. Their website is always brutally slow as well, in the U.S. anyway.

Post

Not here. Site is responsive and at the moment I am downloading Falcon with the max download rate I booked at my provider...(600 mb in well under a minute)

They're probably not doing any edge caching, which is why geography matters.

Is Quadra more about the sequencers or the sound of the samples?
