I like their SSL channel strips (prefer the white for whatever reason), and the bus compressor is a regular on drum bus and master bus (for uptempo pieces). Also use the White 2A and tape delay once in a while. The Neve and API emulations don’t get much use, neither do the 1176 (prefer TrackComp most of the time) nor the 33609. The 432 EQ uses way too much CPU for what it does. I only have the plate reverb, it’s OK, rather distinct 80s sound, if you like that. I think for reverb there are better choices available.
I always forget I also have the 670. Demoed the tapes ones, sounded great, but definitely unusable due to CPU usage.
Oh, yeah, MODO bass is unique. Amplitube has been mostly replaced by F-59 for me (I like it simple

).

Positive:
- stable (at least for me)
- good GUI, resizable.
- good sound
- overall very usable
- Sum/difference processing in every plugin (if you need that)
Negative:
- none of the compressors has a mix knob
- a lot of the plugins raise the output volume by a dB or so in the default setting
- for people who are sensitive to that, IK’s marketing approach is definitely on the aggressive/hyped side, not quite Slate levels, but a bit annoying. Just ignore it.

I think they are good quality plugins. However, and this is the second time I've experienced this (and in itself means I will never trust this vendor again and loathe to use what I do have):
In whatever recent update I'm dealing with (tRacks 5 I guess) it appears the internal ID of the plugin was changed (at least the same behavior as before when*). So that loading a template made with any of these plugins in the penultimate version [project from Q3 2018] opens with a broken plugin (you know, with a yellow exclamation point showing it didn't load), its settings lost with that configuration.
First time this happened I mentioned it here and very soon their rep comes on here _only_ to say *(there was this internal ID change &) VE Pro is doing it wrong". Which means IKMM, aware of this 'internal ID change' didn't test it once in my choice of hosts, which was not new particularly, are ignorant/seems like using 'em in VE Pro is inconceivable or they never heard of it, and compounded the error by deflecting it. The other party isn't looking for shite like that to occur, to adjust to it somehow. So this occurred updating them to v4 and to v5. I have never once - 2003 thru to today - had any other vendor's plugin do that. I'm not looking for an answer btfw (there wasn't one before), just stating the issue.

I think the reverbs were made by a lexicon guy, the same who started exponential audio or something like that. They were considered very good when they launched but that was many moon ago and are perhaps slightly dated today.

Mixed bag. Eccentric company. Some of the products are awesome, but their installation practices and prices are not for me.
Anyhow the Pultec, Opto and 660 are really nice although old-ish plugins.
Amplitube is pretty good too.

I have about 10 ik plug ins and the biggest problem I have with them is all the bullshit you have to go through to get them working and registered. Worst system of all plug in companies.
