and the brands I named do not?

in productivity they fallen far behind the folks I mentioned, while not offering superior sound quality over them.

they need to get their shit together, be more daring and competitive. I wish them well, btw. it just bums me out they are slowpokes.

When this is going to happen, I cannot say exactly.
10 months later, can you tell us more about it? :D
Hi!

The work is ongoing. It's not going as fast as planned. There are technological reasons, among others.
As we move existing products under one hood, we are updating the code of the "old" products. It's not an easy/fast task.

I cannot comment on what technologies other companies use, but our aim number one is quality of modeling. Not speed of releasing.
For example, just training neural networks to behave as they should, takes 2-3 months. And there is much more that needs to be done to in the process of releasing just one product.

There might be unexpected - but cool nonetheless - news in the coming months though.

Coming months? Again one product per 1-2 years? Very slow, guys. It's 2021 for God's sake.

btw, Neural DSP uses exactly neural networks for modeling and sound quality is through the roof. Try their newest Soldano, it rocks my speakers like a hurricane in the last days.

Sorry, but your reasons don't work, they don't make sense. It's just the way you work as a company, your pace.

Someone once told me: "Russians can go slow for a long time, but then they run like their ass is on fire". Something like that, don't actually quote me on that.

Thank you for your opinion. I am not here to argue. Merely saying it's different tech, different approach and different development speed.

NDSP is using black box modeling. We are using white box. It's a different philosophy.

Posts like this make we wish we still had the "thumbs down" button.

maybe try painting it black then, see if it speeds up the process :P
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Instructions not clear. Our neural networks now produce apple juice instead of modeling cathode repeater responses. Damn.

Our neural networks now produce apple juice
I've recently met the developer who produces, quote, "hot air analog behaving engines" in his plugins. he charges 500 bucks for one.

I told him I produce hot air analog behavior just for free after I eat a good burrito and drink soda, so he may as well cut development costs and usb my rear hole to train his networks.

Did he agree? =)

well, you know how that goes. he will dwell, he will lurk. people never say "yes" directly these days, not for a long while.

but I'm sure once he takes the required measurements, he will see the advantages.

is it analog emulated, component-modeled apple juice?

if so, I'm buying. I'm tired of these concentrated, sugar induced fake juices. only genuine, natural squeezed, component modeled. only Mercuriall.
