I just updated all my PA stuff (kinda annoying that I can see if my plugins have updates available from within the downloader) and it says Lion is at 1.14. Is this the latest update or is there one coming?

there is one coming. 1.14 is a version, from? PA does not show in their installer if plugins are up-to-date, confusing. i agree. they send an e-mail when new versions are ready. i think...

communication about versions could be better, but you can see on the product pages of PA, the latest versions, and i think even release notes, dates.

Yes, the manual was corrected right away after that was caught. I had placed the wrong (unfinished) version of the PDF onto the server. If you're still seeing Latin placeholder text, then you're running an old version.

There's an important patch currently in beta with the PA team. Hopefully it should be out shortly. It corrects a particularly nasty bug where the two oscillators would reload as The Forms when loading projects. If you're experiencing this issue, your project/preset isn't lost or corrupted, and it will load properly after the patch is applied.

I have Apple Silicon builds of everything running on my new M1, so those patches are next up for testing.

i never encountered it untill yesterday.. this bug, strangely or?. it seems when you make presets, i revive my old presets sometimes, that contained Forms, it were 2 Form oscillators, now the preset has completely changed.. it loads indeed the Form oscillators.. using the notepad, in the DAW, to recall the right preset, if i forget..

still a great synth LION, as a MPE synth even one of the best.. the preset that does not reload the correct oscillators.. a deep MPE preset, with subtile routing, works great.

good question, i think not. in MPE mode, of course it works.

but MPE transmits 'channel pressure', that is aftertouch for the highest bidder, i.e. the key with highest aftertouch value, or better: for the whole key range.

it seems that LION only reacts to 'channel pressure' and not to 'polyphonic key pressure' (midi spec names). but normally, even developers, call it by other names, the first; aftertouch, second most of the times: poly-aftertouch.

sorry for the not direct answer;

i should check it, but no. poly aftertouch is special midi message, and LION seems only to react to normal aftertouch.

correct me if i am wrong, it could be a feature recquest. easily implemented? in way think. it isn't rocket science to implement it, because LION can do MPE..
