@Databroth - I decided to check out your Portal presets because I really like your Wavetables (which are great if you're into psytrance, psybient, etc,), and I wasn't disappointed. I've been using Portal a lot recently on everything from synths, basslines and drums. Your Covalence presets worked great for some pads that I've been trying to give a little life to. The only suggestion I would make is that if you're using Portal on a bus, follow it with a limiter until you become familiar with which specific presets tend to send your signal easily into the red. Please watch out for your ears and monitors or headphones when witching between presets!! Otherwise, I'm enjoying the pack and I hope you get enough positive feedback to encourage you to create more. Cheers!!

it is tricky with fx presets to make something that won't blow up given different circumstances, especially with something granular, and with how crazy I try to make my sounds

I do think I'll be making more portal presets, I was really enjoying the results from that stream and want to try out some more stuff

I should finish my thermal pack first

I would definitely check out a pack for Thermal. I really love Output's circular interface for creating a constantly-evolving effect. Thermal has been one of the more surprising plugins I've bought recently. I thought there would be a lot of crossover between that and Trash 2, but Thermal has a workflow that really clicks for me. I still use Trash 2 on every session but I'm using Thermal more and more and it's really growing on me. Please do post here if you make some Thermal patches. Cheers!!
