Oh man this thing is going to solve some problems. I hope that they have used modern circuit modeling techniques.

Oh I don't know, this made me laugh ...
He continued that hardware is also in the works.

“Depending on how well the plugin is received, we may make a hardware version of the plugin of the hardware we modelled.”

I will be using it when they release it, along with my Adam Audio Absorber Socks:

That is a really good one for April fools for sure/I like it.
No doubt though that with an authentic rendered GUI that there would be people that'd use a "virtual DI" plugin and insist that it makes a difference, there are always those types.

"If it's passive with Lundahl transformers then it'll be amazing/really true and warm sounding. Not one of them active things, they just suck away all my tone and the signal always sounds all thin and nasty, you know?." - That is a verbatim quote by someone who played guitar in a band I had the pleasure of engineering/tracking and mixing for, I've heard similar utter rubbish over the years too which is just not at all true though far many more times, as I am sure you all will have at least once if not many, many more.

haha

It'd be ace to have a plugin that could alter impedance variably ITB but it is not at all do-able as you have to do that obviously before recording.
It is because that as many will know already that meddling with mic and preamp or rather the impedance of the load the preamp is seeing/getting as well as an instrument pickup, especially pretty much any electric guitar pickup I find personally and whatever you are piping it into therefore loading, the results can be splendid. I've got those areas covered anyway, just got the old noggin jogging for impossible but amusing plugins

All the very best to all as always, nice one/cheers! :tu:

I'm not sure that it is as meticulously modeled as The Wire though. I confess that I'm a bit biased there, so YMMV and all that.

Then you need this to fix it :hihi:

Disclaimer: Not making fun of you, United Plugins - it does actually make DI'd signals sound a touch better and I love your plugins.
