I'm a Windows PC user and I'm now fairly confident about knowing which DAWs I like for PC computer music lessons in schools.
(My recommended free DAW for PC computers in schools is probably MuLab).
But I don't personally have or use an ipad or Chromebook, both of which seem to be popular and used frequently in primary schools etc.
I've been doing some research into good FREE daws for Ipads and Chromebooks on the internet, but it would also be very useful if any of you KVR members had used, and would kindly recommend, a FREE daw for ipads and / or Chromebooks.
Effectively what I'm looking for is something that is:
* full free software (not a trial or demo)
* allows users to open and save files
* allows users to create at least 4 tracks in an arrangement
* allows users to play a few software instruments
* allows users to edit (midi or equivalent) tracks
* if possible, also allows users to record live audio
For PC, the daw Mulab 7 (rather than the newer version Mulab 8!) meets all of these requirements.
However, I now find myself teaching lessons with ipads and Chromebooks instead.
Many thanks in advance for your helpful FREE daw recommendations for ipads and / or Chromebooks.
