Finisher Voodoo surprised me from the first use in a techno fusion project. It literally transforms the guitar into an electronic instrument without sacrificing that subtle natural essence of the instrument, unless you wanted it and set the parameters at an extreme. Which could lead to unexplored paths but generally with some surprising results as well.
I can get from rhythmical grooves and shapper filtering, saturation/distortion linked as never before to LFO's, fluttering fmodulation that you can sense, space atmospheres, that I swear they have placed me on orbit with my guitar transformed into a ship.
For those accustomed to tweaking like myself, the apparent austerity of controls can leave you wanting more at first, but then you realize that is precisely the intrinsic special and unique quality featured by Ujam's Finishers, letting you get valid and original results with little effort. Something that few effects plugins can boast!
As a guitarist I have my arsenal of effects on hardware and also use emulators such as the fantastic guitar amp/fx suite TH-U (Overloud) and Voodoo arrived to add in combination a range of different and fresh sonic spices, like other perspectives or dimensions!
Try it is better than describing it to understand its power.
