OK, so, the cause of the issue is the render operation on the phrase. It becomes locked to whatever the properties are before the render.

Unless I am forgetting something, that is..

I'm surprised to see the regression here - the MIDI export seems like the sort of thing that, once accomplished (which it was), would never need to be revisited.

RapidComposer v4.2b2 available!

Improvements:

Sending MIDI Machine Control works well with several DAWs (enable under Settings / MIDI)
Song start time setting added to synchronize the MMC commands with DAWs (some use 00:00:00:00, some others use 01:00:00:00 as the start time)

Please do not confuse the 'Note Mapping' menu with the note mapping setting for each note. Each note has its own note mapping. There is no global 'note mapping' for a phrase. The menu has the purpose to
1) set the note mapping for the next added note
2) change the note mapping of multiple selected notes. In this case select a few notes, and make a selection in the Note Mapping menu, e.g. when converting a few chord notes to scale notes.

I hope you not forget to add controller support in phrases or allow the feature of a controller phrase which can link to note phrase. have you plans when controller phrases come and how you implement it ?

I am still committed to include phrase and note controllers for v4.2.
It is my next task after finishing UI hardware acceleration which is taking longer than I expected.

There are some great producers / composers in this forum making orchestral music but is there anybody here using RC to make mainstream music ?

What sort of thing would you class as mainstream?

I'd be up for a try at something different to see how RC could handle it.
