I’m planning to migrate from windows 10 desktop pc to MacBook for portability. But I like most producers / composers have around 8TB of projects, recordings, sample libraries, samples, loops etc piled up from past 25 years spread across 4 internal SSD drives.
What kind of external SSD drives do you use ?
How is overall experience on M1 ?
Are there any wrappers that could wrap vintage plug-in like Steinberg Virtual Guitarist 2 to work on M1 MacBook ?

I don't use my Apple M1 Macbook Pro very much on my free time since it's my work computer, otherwise I always prefer Windows (10). But I have installed Reason 11 Suite on it, and I'm not planning on using any VST's, so I wouldn't have any problem with those. Anyway, even though Reason 11 do not officially support M1, it works fine with Rosetta, and I seem to get at least the same performance as I did on my 2017 Intel Macbook Pro.
