Basically i want bass sound for low notes, strings for mid notes and piano for high notes.
Then bass would fade into strings when playing low/mid notes, then strings would fade into piano when playin mid/high notes.
Currently i encounter samplers with harsh ranges - where one key is bass and next one is strings but that sudden change of sample into very different timbre is too much.So id like to have crossfade so its more subtle.
Any cheap sampler with crossfade between low/mid hi notes using different samples ?

The sfz format can do this. Plogue has a free player available.
There's a thread about how to do the thing you're looking for here (on another forum).
