I'm looking for drum samples from
Synclavier.
Especially the Snare drums.

Sadly Arturia's Synclavier-V doesn't include any drums from Synclavier.

Any help appreciated

That would be nice if they included synclavier drums in there, but don't know and there's no demo version

You may have a look at this: https://s3.amazonaws.com/uvi/SC22-The+ ... manual.pdf (page 10 Beast Box - Preset List).

PCM samples or Synclavier synthesis?

These drums were in the original Synclavier factory library?

I think the KB6 drum machine archive used to have them. At least, they are in the giant zip file linked here:

There are 46 wavs in the Synclavier folder, ranging from 9kb to 60kb in size, so presumably the original PCMs.

The Beast Box.
Combining the best FM-synthesized percussion sounds with recordings of the deepest drum hits and percussion samples, Beast Box is a massive drum machine with an extensive library of over 1,200 sounds.

I think it would be pretty weird if in those 1200 sounds they didn't include the drum machine sounds from the Synclavier. :)

Are you talking about these?

These are the Synclavier snare samples from the original Timbre Library.

I have them, but they're also available on-line. If you can't find them, I can send them to you. And the Arturia Synclavier loads them with no problems.

Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

This is pretty cool but where is the Synclavier folder? 7.19GB of samples anyway.
[edit] Found it! under Individual- New England digital Synclavier :)

the particular snare sample(s) I'm looking for are the one(s) that was in 90s/2000s pop rnb ballads at the peak of the songs in the last choruses usually. many ballads during that era had finger snaps, cross sticks, side sticks samples (with huge reverbs) on 2 and 4, for first choruses and verses, and on the last chorus usually there was this snare.

like at the last (peak) choruses in these ballads:

Finally got my hands on the “KB6 Drum machine archive” sample library. It has about 50 synclavier drum samples. 14 snares. But none of them are acoustic snares that I’m looking for.

UVI The Beast sounds like has the snares that I’m looking for the closest one at 36:46 in this video:

If I remember right this sounds very similar to one of the Alesis HR16 snares :) Did you check them out?

You can find the original Synclavier Timbres here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/TimbreShare/

They all import without a problem into the Arturia Synclavier
