Fl Studio Step Sequencer Problem HELP

I did a re install of FL and now the step sequencer display buttons are blank. The name of the sample or plugin are not there. Any idea how to fix?

no, I will try that, it never asked me to.

usually you won't need to but sometimes you'll need to after an install. (same goes for a lot of software).

Another thing, now when I record a vst channel it automatically goes to piano roll. It used to record my playing into the step sequencer. How do I change that default??
