Nope, probably just not uploaded yet! Having fun playing with ARP demo while I wait. CA/MRB partnership looks promising, lovely filter!WasteLand wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 5:52 pmcrossed messages, also didn't get it.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 5:50 pm Probably being thick, tracked down the Animator OK, but the Mighty Piano Roll says it's only "included in bundle" and the bundle seems to be VM Core, which I own, yet I don't seem to have that module or any way to 'buy it' for free (or at all). Anyone got a way?

I think they're gonna get some envious looks from VCV Rack and Softube Modular users with the 2500 Collection. I'm still tinkering with the second preset I tried, Action Runner, and I'm still not bored. I've added SuperMassive and am in space!

Yeh, the SEM module was outstanding as well, some really great modules now.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 6:06 pm I think they're gonna get some envious looks from VCV Rack and Softube Modular users with the 2500 Collection. Love to see some new FX now (how about teaming up with Valhalla ) and maybe some more interesting sequencers (but the piano roll sequencer is a really nice edition and makes stand alone much more viable).

It's hilarious to think how much a certain developer who has dominated discussion (as being so crap that we all wanted to hide his modules in the store) has been charging for his stuff when you see 21 modules like this for $50.
MRB has really gone to town on the presets too.

Apparently it's taking a little time for Mighty Piano Roll to filter down to all Core owners in our database - there are quite a lot of them now. If you don't see it in your library, check again in a little bit!

Yeah got the mighty piano roll now. Great. I'd booked the day off work tomorrow to do some cleaning up before a landlord visit on Saturday, but it's looking more like I'm going to spend tomorrow dicking about with VM and I'll do a bare bones clean up on Saturday morning.
The preset Little Machine is all sorts of Vince Clarke/Early Depeche Mode.

haha me too, bought the ARP 2500 without demoing it... to great to have such a kind of modules... and again... over budget this month... thanks VM!! but as always, i use VM a lot, and have in the last months made patches in a way i never did before.. so... well worth it.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 6:34 pm Yeah got the mighty piano roll now. VM seems very underrated here on KVR especially given it plugs in as a VST in your DAW and works as a modular instruments and FX. It's overtaken VCV for me now as my faveroute and most used modular.
The range of quality cool stuff is amazing, but I would love to see more complex and modulable FX like Erbe-Verb and Clouds type stuff and some more sampler/granular stuff maybe like Morphagene

I like the sheer number of modules in VCV and prefer the way a few things like polyphony work, but I find moving modules around a pain (though nowhere near as bad as Softube Modular) compared to VM and I also find VM much more stable when using it in a DAW than trying to integrate VCV Rack into DAWs using the current backdoor methods available. Hopefully when VCV 2.0 does come out with the plugin version option it'll be a lot more stable than standalone.
That said, there's a killer new feature coming out in VCV soon, hot swappable folding modules using Stoermelder's Strip module.

there is Almanacs of Nekomatic. not really clouds, because it uses also, don't know out of my head, but is a full blown granular processor.SLiC wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 7:08 pm VM seems very underrated here on KVR especially given it plugs in as a VST in your DAW and works as a modular instruments and FX. and i maybe not an expert on granular synthesis, i know it quite well the possibilies, and still learning. with a lot of programs...
the Almanacs is great for granular stuff, just insert sampler, or one of the JK sampler's before it..

Some real food for thought in the V2500 patch named Rhythmic Burst - once you start tweaking the envelopes you realise this is really easily capable of DFAM style noise percussion

I have to admit I don't find the CA store very easy to mooch around and find stuff! I don't know why its set up by developers rather than by modules types. I just found this one as well, this is the type of thing I am talking about- FX with CV control...
