I have a lot more of this thread to read because I stopped for a few minutes :hihi:

It's even harder on the internet to understand our emotional context for lack of a better term. I get this at work just like every parent gets this "you dont have to yell", at work with kids we keep our rate, tone and volume under control but the slightest elevation in my voice sets some kids off. I explain to them that it's not anger, it's not negative, it is how I am (and because I work with my son too, I say "just ask asher") and if it is important or if I think it's going to stop them from being unsuccessful I ask them to use their words with me and lets talk.

There are also cultural differences that will come into play, I think we owe to all to try and understand these things. This is a well traveled road and it appears to me to be a dead end...do threads need to be derailed by it?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Not critics! Critics make sense. I would rather refer to them as "usual suspects". People who tirelessly lament the same issues they take, apparently because they want to lament more so than they want help. One could probably paraphrase this as some kind of entitlement. To be heard, to be helped, to vent, to take part. Imagine someone who posts in every thread about modular synthesisers that he or she finds modular synthesisers confusing. So why post in threads that are about modular synthesisers?

The underlying issue with these posts (and in if it happens regularly, with this people, e.g. when you can predict a post as part of a habit or pattern) is that they feel entitled to steal time. I, we, devote a lot of time to listen and speak to people. We need to more and more develop strategies to talk to people who actually want a productive outcome.

Recently we have for the first time discussed banning someone from our company forum. But that feels like something that the bad ones do. So we don't. We keep enduring the pattern, and maybe it is a pattern that the people are not aware about. So, sometimes we make fun of their habits. It's a coping mechanism, I guess. But sometimes the coping mechanism doesn't prepare us for the reality of what people do or say, and we reply. And *woosh* then outrage machine runs at full effect, and the whole planet turns into a sad place.

I’m sorry Urs, but you always seem to reject any comment depreciating any of your products. In my case, my point was : I have a problem with the native sound of Zebra2, but I really love the sound of Hive2. You could simply keep from this that some of your customers may prefer a Hive2 sound for the Zebra3 engine, which is exactly my point. End of the story. This is nothing but some kind of user request. Since you’re part of the talk about users talking about your products, this turns into a bizarre way indeed.

You didn’t reply in a bad way to my comment in any way this time, but we already had this talk in the past and you tried to prove me wrong with that supersaw talk, and now this time you’re having a fight with an user for the same reason. You simply don’t want to admit that some people may love another layout, you want to prove that you made the right choices.

I really don’t get why you always want to crush any people saying what you don’t expect them to say. People tell the best about you.

This is not an attack message please !!! I’m saying, on the contrary, simply that some users expect different things from your products. Take it or leave it. You have a huge fanbase !!

As neither me nor anyone else of the audience has observed the before mentioned "roleplay" it is simply nothing but scientifically correct to state that the procedure and the stakeholders are lastly unknown. And sry - I´m not naive and you can gladly repeat it another 2000 times. That won´t make it better.

And to mention that HZ is is brand is nothing but simply true. You´d immediately get sued if you´d mention his name in your references without permission that is usually based on some kind of constant business relationship/cashflow.

I don´t want to ask now if all the involved people have been mentioned yet or if the marketing story isn´t just a rude simplification (as usual in business).

And as nobody really refers to arguments made or facts shown up I see absolutely no reason to continue this discussion.

Alcohol is no excuse btw.

Cu ;-)

Not with this though. However, this applies to the goose as well as the gander.
ftr I intentionally went out of my way to not assigning ownership, it was not directed at anyone, the person I quoted I eve n made sure I responded to him first so he would not feel singled out. I dont disagree, it applies to everyone one of us

I have to say that this is not how I interpret his responses. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that this is not accurate description of his meaning and intent.
