Very nice. Tried the demo. Unsure about it compared to UVI Shade in terms of feature over-lap, since I own Shade. Sounds nice though and the ability to truely customize the filter "curve" can open up a lot of detailed sound design ability.

just picked this one up, very unique and I'm always a fan of spectral stuff
I only wish the stretch control could be pushed further
lots of creative and fun ways to use this tool, I should be doing a demo of it soon

Can this tame resonances by applying a straight horizontal threshold?

SPCTRL is a filter effect tool mostly. For the price I think you'd be better off with Soothe or Teote or DSEQ which is tailored more to resonsance control. YMMVSeeingInMidi wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 9:18 pm Can this tame resonances by applying a straight horizontal threshold?

If it is comparable to Soothe or Teote, why does it sound like SpecOps and a chorus had a baby?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Good plugin with very handy interface, definitely wanna buy it. Hope Tonsturm will develop more plugins suited for sound-design and keep them updated.

Don't sleep on it, guys, if you are in sound design. I own Shade and feel pretty comfortable with a lot of filtering techniques but Tonstrum finally made a plugin for the lowest level filtering options which help me play with the frequencies themselves, not filter types. I really hope Tonstrum will get more love (and sales) and will keep the motivation to make good plugins.

Now that I've used it for a while, I would really like to see presets handled a little differently. Opening a pop-up window to access them slows down my workflow. But beyond that, I'm very impressed with the high quality sound and modulation features. Highly recommended!!!
