Looperator is cool because you can slice incoming 'live' audio, and that's what I'm interested in.
Almost purchased during their recent sale, but found a couple of Reaktor ensembles that did the live slicing and rearranging...just not as immediate or elegant to use.

I had another question as I was thinking through this. Ideally, I would like to set a slice length based on the overall project (e.g., 1/4, 1/8, etc.) and then manually "scan" that 1/4 or 1/8 measure window through a longer WAV file (for example, by assigning a MIDI controller knob to the scan function) to find an interesting portion of the sample to use for the slice. Does anyone know a slicer that could do this?
