DOZER-DRIVE DUAL DRIVOLOGY PEDAL RELEASE
ROUND MEETS GREEN
Dozer Drive unites two of the most iconic guitar pedals of all time in a single enclosure: The legendary circular fuzz from 1966 and the little green overdrive monster from 1979! No matter if you just want to add a little boost to your signal or push it to the point of saturation heaven, it’s all there. Will it fuzz? Will it distort? And overdrive? Oh, yeah.
DUAL DRIVE DNA
If you’re looking for a fuzz that covers all the treasured classic tones, just engage the Face and look no further. The Screamer, on the other hand, will give you the typical mid-pronounced tone which became nothing less than the industry standard for overdrive. You like to tweak? Then get all in - Screamer after Fuzz, Fuzz after Screamer, or both of them in parallel!
STRAIGHT FORWARD MODS
The Face provides an NPN vs. PNP switch which lets you choose between the typical clipping characteristics of Silicone and Germanium transistors, as well as the Doom Mod for conjuring ultimate grind. The Fat Mod of the Screamer shifts the mid-focused tone towards a much stronger bottom end. Finally, the mix controller allows to fine-tune the fuzz/overdrive ratio in parallel mode.
CLASSICS FOR YOU
If you want to sound like Jimi or Stevie Ray, or you prefer to find the perfect tone all by yourself, Dozer Drive will become your best friend. It’s super versatile and still just takes a few seconds to dial in amazing drive sounds for your guitar… or other instruments, if you dare. Dwell on the classic tones, give them a good tweak and make them your own.

wow, I like dual concept. and price!
you think a similar thing could be done for modulation? like a flanger / chorus duo? Boss CE-1 / EHX Electric Mistress kinda thing? that would drop me on the floor literally.

Well, something from the modulation department is on the list, but please be aware that it may take a while.

ignorant and of course wrong. they don't sound the same. besides, there is no rule and limitation on these things use. it's not a textbook exercise.
someone like David Gilmour used Electric Mistress in the beginning of his chain and Boss CE-2 at the end, all at the same time. go send him a postcard, tell him he was wrong, see if he cares.
if it sounds great, it's great, regardless.

So do you chorus the flanged signal or do you flange the chorused signal? For the Chorus to work properly it wants to see a dry signal that isn't moving.

This is a great plugin!
Both sides are a little tame (certainly not a bad thing) with drive dialled down, but they both can get right up there when you turn it up.
Then there's doom mod
Instabuy here - especially at this price.

Again, there is no textbook guideline to these things, and even if there is, I'd throw it in a fire immediately. For the Chorus to work properly it wants to see a dry signal that isn't moving.
If Pink Floyd were only concerned what was "proper" and what wasn't, Rick Wright would never run his grand piano through a Leslie speaker. why do it? it's not "proper" use of a grand piano. lets just play good ol' Beethoven and be square.
Gilmour would never ever think of running his guitar into the output of his Crybaby wah, which resulted in previously unheard "seagull scream" effect. He'd keep doing it the "proper" way and the sound would never be discovered.
Not only he would use flanger and chorus together, but also add rotary speakers on top, adding even more modulation to his guitar mix. Who cares, as long as it works and sounds great. He couldn't be bothered.
Thankfully, those artists were all about sonic experimentation. Daring, revolutionary, crazy, even. You'll never break any ground if you think "oh, I can't do this, it's not proper". Where is art in that?
If that was the logic, we would miss tons and tons of great artistry and music, and good thing we didn't.

What are we talking? Small clone? Phase 90? One of the excellent Roland/Boss choruses (CE-1, CE-2, Juno, CE-300, Dimension D)? Anything Electro-Harmonix or Roland/Boss is good to me! Classic MXR too!fuseaudiolabs wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 6:27 amWell, something from the modulation department is on the list, but please be aware that it may take a while.

actually Fuse Labs quality Phase 90 and Phase 100 kinda "Duo phase" thing would kill. I find 100 model way underrated. if one happens to lay his hands on a vintage 1970's Phase 100, it's absolute gold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpZ54vBrWTI
still couldn't make friends with Small Stone on guitars. way too narrow sweet spot for me, somewhere around 3 o'clock and even then it goes into this "Uni-vibe"-ish throb that is overpowering. for Rhodes piano Small Stone is irreplaceable. for guitars I prefer MXR script logo 90/100.
for Electro-Harmonix, 1973 Violet Ram's Head muff and 1976 Electric Mistress V2 18v. absolute legends. watch out for the volume drop on Mistress, though. Gilmour had to boost EM output volume with a clean FET preamp.
for Boss, obviously 1976 CE-1 and 80's CE-2 MIJ, you can't beat these guys.

The "Full on ACCO" demo purrs beautifully. Some great tones to be found in this thing.
