Hi ppl,
I would like to create some music during launch time at work, so is there any good free sequencer with vst support?
I mean not something in which u have to connect modules and so on... a normal simple easy pattern sequencer can do the job.
There are a lot of beautiful free vst to play... but dont'know about free sequencer.

...so please...links needed...

I dont know of any "easy" free sequenzer.
But energyXT if used with the sequenzer is almost free and easy to use with vstis.

No, it has 2 VSTi slots per channel and 3FX. I did D/L it but haven't used it at all. The installer is still on my H/D though. I might stick it on my kids PC I've built for Christmas time. I was going to install FL studio 5 on there.

PQN Audio has been mentioned on the forum a while ago. It's free! I've been playing with it for a few weeks, and it seems quite useful as a sketchpad for those occasional ideas you get (during your breaks at work!). You can load upto 4 VSTi's but can only use one at a time. It's meant to be a VSTi sequencer for Tuareg. You can get it here:

and some1 has the AODIX? which seems to be free but can't find the download ?

It's two VSTs (effects) plus three VSTs on the master, i.e. no VSTIs (instruments), no MIDI.

I dont think you find the inwired still or a free version of aodix

but you can try the eXT demo free and you can save with that, but not reload

the demos of Podium and NTrack will serve well..

Aodix downloads are thin on the ground these days, with v4 coming out soon. I have v2 and v3 sitting here, but never quite got to grips with Trackers.. If you really want a tracker, and can't wait for Aodix4, try Renoise (look in the quick link menu)

Sorry rsmus7, my bad! Well, looks like I won't be using that!
Cubasis Inwired isn't available on any of thier FTP servers anymore (?). I tried to get it for a friend ages ago. I'm sure I found it on an old Computer Music mag disc and still got nowhere as the rocket control software (for online collab, now obsolete) needs to be installed to run it.
