I'm after an acoustic bass library, for Kontakt ideally. Not an upright bass, but an acoustic bass guitar. There seems to be very few, I can see the Ample Sound one, it looks really good, but is pretty pricy so I'll see what else is around. I see a couple of very small/bad free Kontakt ones... But that's it, there's just nothing! If you know of anymore options let me know please. :tu:

Pretty much just the Ample one if you want deep-sampled bass guitar. I did a thin hollowbody electric bass with both mic and pickup signals, but also totally not the same sound.

Wouldn't mind sampling one of these beasts someday, but sadly there's probably no money in it.

Cheers. Yes, I've been looking, I really am convinced the Ample one's the only half decent option! I think I might have to get it, but I'm a bit too broke this pay-cycle! :dog: :hihi:

It was for an acoustic folk/indie song I'm working on, I ended up just using a P Bass in Modo Bass, still works, but I did have my heart set on something organic and "woody".

Try using an acoustic guitar IR from here;

and experiment with the size/stretch settings, you can get pretty close.
