Evil laugh samples

What are the usual sources to get them, and how good are they? Either gamedev resources or EDM sample packs or whatever.
I don't need any, I'm wondering whether it'd be worth making some or whether there's already plenty of solid stuff out there. I can't really do a wholesome non-evil laugh, but evil laugh is a niche (perhaps even a Nietzsche) I am well-adapted to.

Do you mean a Vengeful Laugh with keyswitch articulations and dynamic layers?

A mike pointing at a voice actor, duuuh.
You really need to ask?
When really hard-pressed I'd even just take the outro of MJ's "thriller" and wait for the current owner of his portfolio to notice it.

I'm not aware of commercial sample packs, but for this kind of stuff, the first thing on my mind would be freesound.org

I think its a bit over-specific for a sample pack. I suspect if you look at dialogue packs aimed at RPG videogame development you'll maybe find this sort of thing amongst other common emotes. Stuff like this, randomly discovered at ASoundEffect:DSmolken wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 9:59 am What are the usual sources to get them, and how good are they? Haha, that sounds like a lot of fun. For that reason alone, it's worth a try.

Thanks, everybody. I'm working on something that will include vocals, and, yeah, doing some over-the-top cackling would fit, and , yeah, would be fun.
Aha! I knew the public domain movie samples were out there, but this is the sort of thing I wanted to find out about. The current standard for the "high end" that's out there.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 11:31 amI think its a bit over-specific for a sample pack. nothing beats "dying battery in Charles toys".
particularly, long forgotten toys.
that for no reason, in the middle of the night one time, just start laughing and saying daaaaaaadddyyyyyy
then stop!
wtf was that???? arrrrrgggghhhhh!
fetch me some new underpants!

Somebody never saw Amy Sedaris fighting off that 70's made for TV horror movie doll during her Christmas special. She had to stuff that bastard in a turkey and shove it in a preheated oven.
