New Unfiltered Audio Granular effect plugin

I own almost all of their plugins, and my favourite is easily Byome. I'm always using the granular effect to create slowed down drone sounds or weird reverb style sounds. I think TheLizard mentioned in another post about a new granular plugin.
Anyone know more??

I haven't heard of any new software by Unfiltered Audio. I picked up Triad, which is the multi-band version of Byome, during one of the holiday sales and it's great for really extreme sound mangling. I think the interface could use some more organization, but in terms of functionality, the modular effects environment is a powerhouse for creative people. My positive experience with Triad led me to their software synthesizer called Lion. That has proven to be a wild combination of synthesis with all of the featured effects of Byome... truly killer!!

There is a looping video clip on UA's Twitter page of what I gather is a prototype the new granular effect.
If less is more, imagine how much more MORE will be.

Yep! It should be out in the next 2-3 weeks. PA is recording some very nice tutorial videos right now. We also have a big raft of patches for all existing products, and two new effects after that, followed at some point by a Eurorack module.scott_free wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 3:59 am There is a looping video clip on UA's Twitter page of what I gather is a prototype the new granular effect.

Our first Eurorack module is a hardware port of the LION oscillator engines. I designed a ton of cool features for it, including separate audio-rate FM and hard sync targeting of the primary and modulation oscillators, along with a built-in stereo VCA. Noise Engineering is doing the circuit layout for us, and QuBit is doing the manufacturing. Papernoise made an awesome panel for it. Should be out toward the end of this year. The prototype is so much fun. SynMag (https://www.synmag.de/1192/synmag-inter ... cial-2021/) did a six-page interview with us and published the first photos of it.vurt wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 5:30 pmthelizard wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 4:55 pmYep! Our granular plugin is called Silo. Josh is working on hardware prototypes for that. We're going to test some ideas and see if it works better as a Euro layout, a tabletop thingy, a guitar pedal, or some combo (or, well, not at all). That's still a very early project, so no promises there.

Sounds interesting, I'm looking for a granular tool. The ones I'm favouring most at the moment are the IRCAM Space Grain..I'm not finding the "mainstream" granular stuff like Padshop or Falcon are quite what I'm looking for.

and a fantastic alternative to spacegrain - which I have but am going to sell as part of the Creative bundle - is Dust, which I prefer to spacegrain https://www.soundmorph.com/product/49/dust
