Hmmm - seems it's been taken off the DiscoDSP site as well. They had Aodix 2 and 3 there just recently.

MultitrackStudio Lite is free but is limited to 3 tracks only. Supports VST and VSTi.

Cubasis Inwire is dead. Get a Computer Music issue and use Computer Muzys. It doesn't require instalation (doesn't touch the registry) and can hold up to 5 VSTi's. I think it can really do the trick for you.

Delta SP at http://www.pcpages.com/deltasp2002/ is freeware and hosts VST and has a sequencer, sampler and also internal synths and wave editor.
