Do you know how to change the default 140 bpm, kick, clap, hi hat, snare pattern that fruityloops opens with? I'd like to get some staple sounds in there that load each time.

Yes as a templ.
Mine is named 'studio' (which you can overwrite the studio one in there, or any one of them for that matter.)

There is like the open folder on the channel edit page (this is hard to explain not sitting in fron of it
it's the page with the mixer number on it)
When you open that folder you can open .fst's I think they are called.
I have tons of 404 files that I have made or grabbed from studio.

I hope my ghetto instructions helped
It's hard to reply sometimes when I can't see what I know I am referring to. Try it and let me know if it works for ya.

Hey, it's easy: just drag and drop from the browser right onto a TS404 channel, or you can even just drag and drop onto the step sequencer and it will open a new TS404 with the preset loaded for you.
Also, if you want to change the default, just set things up the way you want to and then save that .flp in your /templates directory - then next time you restart FL Studio, go to File > Templates > your saved template - from now on, when you open FL it will automatically launch with your template until you pick a new one.
I for instance changed the colors of the Send tracks and the Master track just a hair, and have some channels open that are already linked to the mixer with the colors changed to match the channels, etc. play around with how you think you can set up FL to work best for you and just make a template for it - it makes it quick and easy to have a custom project for your composing.
Another example is I have a SampleTank2 template - I have a ST2 and a bunch of MIDI Out generators open already, so I can compose using ST2's interface extremely fast.
