Wow! Lots of love on this thread. Anyone still interested I made a strum Logical Editor preset.

Copy the "Strum" folder to your Logical Edits folder in your Cubase Prefs Folder and then create the macro as in the image (follow link).
I have mine set to Shift+S. Highlight the notes in the chord (works with single chord MIDI files/regions too) then press your assigned key command for the macro. Cubase will make the chord a very short strum. Each additional press will lengthen the strum. It will work with up to 6 note chords.

You could also download Amplesounds' free guitar plugin, that has a built-in strummer with MIDI out, and then just send that MIDI to your plugin of choice. :-)
