Hi, new guy here - joined because I have a problem:

Downloaded the demo version of Vermillion (Win10, standalone version) a few weeks ago, have been testing it, liked it - so when the current sale came up, I bought a license.
Tried to import the license (following the intructions) - and Vermillion shut down; can't get to open it again at all. Already tried de-installing it, and downloading & installing it again. Nope, still doesn't work...
Any ideas what's going on?

Please, write to the support email from https://www.kuassa.com/support/
Also, please share more information about your PC and DAW.
In the mean time, you can try and copy the license at C:\Users\Your user name\Documents\Kuassa\Licenses
and don't forget to download a fresh license file from the members area:
https://www.kuassa.com/redeem/
https://member.kuassa.com/

OK, just wrote to Kuassa support.
BTW, running the standalone version of Vermilion on a Win10 64-bit PC.
Fresh license won't help - since I can't get the Vermilion to start at all (tried de-installing & downloading again already).

I'll bet you $5 you need to install legacy C++ runtimes.
My most recent issues with VST plugs were caused by a missing Microsoft Visual C/C++ Redistributable.
I installed 2005 through 2015-2019 redist packs, and now everything is peachy.

Yes, C++ run-times are one of the cases. Please, try and install the 2015-2019 redist pack.
An update is coming to all plugins.
