Wondering if can sync with Pocket Operators.

Post

There is a sync connector...

Post

Pardon thé ignorance. It’s got a PO-33 and still learning the ropes. If I’m not mistaken, the sync out on the PO sums with the audio. Need to find a splitter.

OK, I am super late to this particular party having stumbled on this on another thread.

Here is the basic info about what it is:

The NTS-1 features a digital oscillator inspired by the MULTI engine as found on the acclaimed prologue and minilogue xd, along with an extremely capable arpeggiator including multiple ranges, scales, and modes, plus dedicated spatial, modulation, and delay sections, each with multiple settings to explore.

With a single monophonic digital oscillator, one multimode filter, on EG, three LFOs, three stereo effect processors, and full arpeggiator, the NTS-1 is a very powerful, flexible, fun-to-explore synth.

The main oscillator can produce Sawtooth, Triangle, Square and VPM waveforms, and can load custom oscillators created from Korg’s logue SDK, which means it’s compatible with content created for prologue and minilogue xd. These waveforms can be easily re-shaped and adjusted just by simply turning a couple of knobs.

A wide selection of filters (Low pass 2/4-pole, High pass 2/4-pole, Band pass 2/4-pole and OPEN mode, all with resonance) give you serious control over the overall tone of the oscillator.

This thing is utterly amazing! Amazon have them for £80 in the UK, it is almost unbelievable how good it sounds with even the stock sounds, but now that there are so many other oscillators available that can be loaded (including MI Plaits free!) it must be the biggest no brainer on the planet for people who have modular or desktop synths for the FX alone (it has audio in!)

Why so little buzz about this on KVR? Its not just cheap hardware, its an ecosystem for loading new oscillators and fx!

The thing sounds ridiculously good...

The NTS-1is preloaded with one user oscillator: Waves. This oscillator is stored in one of the 16 slots available for user oscillators. It consists of two main wavetable oscillators and an additional sub wave that can be optionally used as a ring modulation source. The bit depth of the mixed output can be reduced for a lo-fi effect.

I love mine I had it in the box for a while and a couple of weeks a go I decided to build it (took about 20 minutes)

Works a treat has great FX love the reverb on it. Might get a second one just for the FX alone

Cheers for posting- Mine arrives Tuesday and I joked on the other post where someone mentioned this (it was as fx for UNO) that I didn't know I wanted one and now I want two!

Looks from the schematic that there is a physical trim on the audio input before the fx, is that correct?

I'm not sure mate however I fed a MAM MB33 through the NTS-1 and it sounded amazing, also tried it out on some other synths (Neutron) sounded so good hence I may buy more they're tiny and fit anywhere.

PS
Plenty of midi cc on these so absolutely ideal with my Faderfox EC4 I could control multiple NTS-1's no problem at all.

Cheers- it looks like the gain trim and global route for the audio in can be set in the Global Parameters ...

I can think of so many uses for this- ideal for my Eurorack (also have neutron in there) as a patch in effect but I cant wait to try this with my Circuit Tracks as that has 2 audio ins and 2 midi tracks, so I could send for example the UNO to the NTS with the stereo return to the Tracks, and have midi CC control of both the UNO and the FX!!

Also thinking of sticking this on the bottom of the case for portability!

Tried mine with a power bank as well mate works absolutely fine would indeed be ideal for portability. I'm just online ordering another NTS-1 lol for FX purposes only
