As I wrote in my previous post, we will have a new update in June. In that update, we will add a new skin, in celebration of SynthMaster 2 iOS release. Just so you know the below skin is prototype and we will provide polished blue/white/dark skins matching this layout:

We're also introducing maximized popup dialogs for:

1) Arpeggiator:

2. MSEG:

3. Sequencer:

For the sequencers, we will have workflow improvements as well. Specifically, the introduction of "edit mode": Normal mode, Step mode, Up mode, Down mode and Free Hand mode. In free hand, you draw your shapes freehand and those are translated into segments.

For those of you who're asking "hey what about SynthMaster 3?", we had to make some architectural changes in our UI framework to make it "modular". We finally achieved that and first implemented it on iOS. Desktop port coming in the next weeks and will be debuted in our next SM 2.9.9 update:

So has iOS become a larger market than desktop?

For us, not yet, but after we made SynthMaster One iOS free last year for a short while, we had 140k downloads, which later on helped us increase our iOS sales. It increased from 10% to around 20% over a year.

But aside from that, our infrastructure is now "crossplatform" so when we release a product on the desktop, we would be able to release it on iOS as well, we just have to add a new UI/layout using our internal GUI editor.

It's just a matter of testing & packaging the installer, as we were already building for ARM processors in our iOS builds.

So the new versions will be universal binary? This is for both Synthmaster and Synthmaster One?

We'll see what we can. If everything goes well, yes universal binaries, otherwise separate installers for Intel & M1.
